Psychologist Fees Clinical Psychologist:Initial and Subsequent Consultations (1 Hour) $165.00 Skinfold Testing This test is an estimation of your total body fat from using the Harpenden Skinfold Caliper. It has been used all over the world on projects of international importance and is the most prestigious Caliper available. It is the only Caliper CE marked under the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC for a Class 1 Device with Measuring Function and is calibrated using masters traceable to National Standards. The score is given in total millimetres (mm) for the 7 skin-fold sites and also an estimated body fat percentage which has been taken from a prediction equation. Medicare Rebates
With some chronic conditions, your GP may choose to refer you through Health Management under a team care plan, under which you will be eligible for a rebate.
Tree of Life Nutrition does not bulk bill for these services and you will need to pay for your consultation upfront and take the receipt back to Medicare for your rebate. Currently the rebate is $51.95 for each session.
Tree of Life is a provider for the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). If you have a Gold card you will not have to pay for your visit. Home visits are available if required.
If you are DVA eligible, please see your GP for a referral (D904) before seeing Tree of Life.
Medicare Rebates for Psychology
Some clients may be eligible for referral by their GP under the new Medicare scheme, called a Mental Health Care Plan. This is for those experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety or difficulty adjusting to a trauma.
If your GP does refer you under this Medicare plan, you will be able to claim $75 per session for up to six sessions. For more details, contact your local GP or enquire at our office.
Private Health Fund Rebates
